Motorcyclist killed in Clay County crash identified
CLAY COUNTY, Fla. – The 33-year-old Middleburg motorcyclist killed in an accident in Clay County on Wednesday night has been identified by the Florida Highway Patrol.
The crash happened just before 8 p.m. on Long Horn Road near Short Horn Road.
Troopers said a black colored Ford Explorer driven by Johnny Terherst, 52, was southbound on Long Horn Road when it turned left into the path of a northbound Honda motorcycle.
Nicholas Wisor was ejected from the motorcycle. He was transported to St. Vincent’s in Clay County, where he died from his injuries.
Terherst was not injured.
Troopers were investigating the accident. According to the FHP report, charges against the driver are still pending.
