JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – A woman was shot in Baymeadows Wednesday evening, according to Jacksonville Sheriff's Office.
Police said the shooting happened at The Grove at Deerwood apartment complex on Princeton Square Boulevard.

JSO said the woman, who is 19 years old, was shot once in the arm, once in the leg, and two more times in the chest area.
She was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, but police later stated she suffered life-threatening injuries.
