Two women injured in drive-by shooting


JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Two women were injured in what Jacksonville police describe as a drive-by shooting in Northwest Jacksonville Friday night.

According to the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office, the two women were inside a home on Bunker Hill Blvd. when someone drove by the home and fired multiple gunshots into the house.

Police said one woman was shot in the leg, the other was shot in the torso. Both were taken to the hospital and are expected to be alright.

JSO's Violent Crimes Taskforce is investigating this incident. They have not revealed a motive.
