Jacksonville woman claims $1.3 million Lucky Money jackpot

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – A Jacksonville woman who retired from the Navy claimed a $1.3 million Lucky Money jackpot from a drawing on Friday at the Florida Lottery headquarters in Tallahassee.

According to Florida Lottery officials, Sylvia Neal, 61, chose to receive her winnings as a one-time lump-sum payment of $996,216.

Neal purchased her winning ticket from Texaco Hop In at 3126 Edgewood Avenue North in Jacksonville.

The next Lucky Money drawing of $550,000 jackpot will be Friday at 11:15 p.m.
