JSO investigates bullet hole at Arlington school

Front door found shattered; no injuries

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – A custodian arriving the Somerset Academy in Arlington about 7 a.m. Tuesday called police after finding the school's front door partially shattered.

The Jacksonville Sheriff's Office arrived and found a bullet hole in the wall behind the door. At the time of the incident, no one was at the school.

The school had a surveillance system, but it could not be accessed during the officer's initial investigation. 

A crime scene detective was assigned to the case and police are looking for whoever fired the shot.
