Early voting for presidential primary continues through Friday

Advance voting for Georgia's March 1 Presidential Primary ends this week. The primary will pick the delegates from Georgia for both the Republican and Democratic races for president.

In the first two weeks of early voting, more than 63,503 Georgians cast a ballot. Of those, 40,218 were cast in the GOP race, and 23,187 in the Democratic one.

Advance voting is being held  through Friday at one or more locations each county. All precincts will be open for voting on Tuesday.

The March 1 primaries are one of 14 primaries across the country, dubbed the “SEC Primary” due to the concentration of Southern states holding their primaries that day.
