ST. JOHNS COUNTY, Fla. – A new K-8 school is coming to the Nocatee area in St. Johns County.

It will be built on land donated by Nocatee and located adjacent to Nocatee's Twenty Mile neighborhoods.

Construction begins this spring.

The school district will determine zoning of students for this school in the fall of 2016.

This is the third school site donated by Nocatee's developer to the St. Johns County School District. Valley Ridge Academy opened its doors for the 2014-15 school year, and Ponte Vedra High School opened for the 2009-10 school year, both on land donated to the District.

“Education is an important cornerstone of the Nocatee lifestyle,” said Greg Barbour, Chief Operating Officer of The PARC Group, Nocatee’s master developer. “This new school reinforces that the Nocatee lifestyle incorporates all of its residents’ needs, from education to health, wellness, recreation, worship, employment, and more.”
