JSO: Officer rear-ends car on highway
Officer was heading to a call, had lights on
JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Police were at the scene of a crash involving a JSO cruiser on Interstate 95 near the Interstate 10 interchange Sunday night.
Investigators said an officer was heading to a call when another driver pulled in front of him. That driver was rear-ended by the police officer. The officer did have his lights on.
There were two people in the car that was hit. They were taken to the hospital with injuries said to be non life- threatening injuries. The officer was not hurt.
The crash closed southbound lanes of I-95. Lanes of I-10 were still accessible.
