Sanford police seek public's help in search for stolen bulldogs

Two English bulldogs were stolen from home on March 9

The Sanford Police Department is asking for the public's help after two English bulldogs were stolen from a woman's home.

Police say the woman hired a handyman who was referred to her by a family member. She left with the handyman to go to a store for roughly 10 minutes. When she returned, her two closest companions were gone.

Buity and Kara are both female English bulldogs. They are tan and white and about a year old. Neither dog is microchipped.

Investigators are still looking to determine if the handyman had any connection with the theft of the dogs.
