JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – A 32-year-old Jacksonville man was sentenced Tuesday as a prison release re-offender to life in prison for one count of armed robbery.

Joshua Leon Walker was convicted of the charge in February.

In June 2015, Walker entered the Boost Mobile store on Atlantic Boulevard and posed as a customer. After distracting the clerk, Walker pulled out a knife and robbed the store. He then fled the scene.

Walker was later arrested during another robbery.
