Police say teen made threats via social media

TROUP COUNTY, Fla. – A Georgia teenager is arrested for making social media threats against Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump, deputies say.

WTVM in Columbus report the 16-year-old was arrested by the Troup County Sheriff’s Office and U.S. Secret Service agents.

That teen’s name has not been released and neither has the exact nature of the threat. Troup County investigators say they discovered the death threats and then notified the FBI and the Secret Service. Investigators and agents arrested the teen at his home. It’s unclear what charges he faces or whether or not he has a lawyer.
