1 killed in Nassau County crash

FHP: the driver & another passenger suffered minor injuries


NASSAU COUNTY, Fla. – One person is dead after a one-car crash in Nassau County Monday evening, according to the Florida Highway Patrol. 

The FHP report states that a car being driven by Rose Maria Abron Green, 57, on south Crandall Road lost control and rotated counter-clockwise. As the car was rotating, it traveled in a southeasterly direction. The car eventually overturned onto its right side in a ditch . 

Troopers say that the crash caused David Ronald Lee Jr., 51, to be partially ejected. FHP states the car came to a stop on top of Lee's upper body. 

Lee was pronounced dead at the scene. Green and another passenger, Patricia Lynn Morache, 59, suffered minor injuries.
