HILLIARD, Fla. – A pedestrian was hit and killed by a CSX train Wednesday in Hilliard, according to the Nassau County Sheriff's Office.
The accident was reported just before 3 p.m. on the railroad tracks near Pratt Siding Road.

Investigators are working to determine what the man, who was in his 20s, was doing on the tracks.
The victim was the fifth person killed by trains in Northeast Florida since the beginning of the year.
