Woman accused of stealing $24K worth of electronics from FSCJ

Jennifer Milton being held on $1.3 million bond, jail records show

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – A Jacksonville woman is accused of stealing $24,000 worth of computer hardware and software from the Florida State College at Jacksonville building on Baymeadows Road.

Jennifer Inez Milton, 30, is being held at the Duval County Jail on a $1.3 million bond, jail records show.

Milton faces 113 theft-related charges, according to a 22-page arrest report obtained by News4Jax.

She was also arrested on a drug charge Wednesday, the arrest report said. The Jacksonville Sheriff's Office said she was in possession of a controlled substance when they took her into custody. 

News4Jax reached out to FSCJ, and a spokesperson sent a statement, saying many of the items have been recovered:

"Thanks to the swift work of our FSCJ security team and collaboration with the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office, we were able to recover a number of the items taken from our surplus area for technology equipment. We are currently working with the employee’s staffing company to recover the costs for the property stolen."
