Columbia County deputies searching for stolen truck, trailer, skid steer

Sheriff's Office says maroon Ford F-350 towing trailer was stolen Thursday

COLUMBIA COUNTY, Fla. – The Columbia County Sheriff’s Office said it’s searching for a stolen maroon 2000 Ford F-350 pickup truck towing a 20-foot tilt bed trailer with a 2014 John Deere compact loader on it.

Thursday, deputies said someone entered the gated area of Norton’s Home Improvements on South U.S. Highway 441 in Lake City.

The pickup was last seen bearing Florida tag 572 7QE and has a silver diamond plate tool box and fuel tank mounted to the bed of the truck.

The trailer is described as a 20-foot tilt bed utility trailer with a floor constructed of 2 by 6 boards and plywood, which is rotting. It does not have side rails. The trailer was last seen with Florida tag 276 3TH and both fenders have a sticker with the words, “Curve Works.”
