NASSAU COUNTY, Fla. – Three local law enforcement agencies will honor the men and women who died in the line of duty Tuesday morning.
The memorial starts at 10 a.m. at the Nassau County Sheriff's Office. The combined service will recognized those with the Nassau County Sheriff's Office, Fernandina Beach Police Department and Florida Highway Patrol.
A total of eight officers will be honored at Tuesday's memorial. The Nassau County Sheriff's Office said the memorial also serves as a reminder for public safety officers to keep safety at the top of their minds.
