Police said Hill chased Washington over a fence into an adjoining yard, where he shot the victim several times.

Dorcet was hospitalized, but recovered. Washington, 20, died at the scene.

Hill, who has numerous previous arrests, was arrested March 16 on a violation of probation warrant. The murder and other charges were filed on Hill on Monday.
