JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – A man was shot in the leg Monday night while sitting on his West 23rd Street porch, the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office said.
Police said two men tried to rob the victim and then shot him.

He was taken to UF Health with non-life-threatening injuries.
Investigators said the two suspects ran off through a nearby Advanced Auto Parts Parking lot. Police have not yet identified them.
