Deputies search for missing Alachua County woman

GAINESVILLE, Fla. – The Alachua County Sheriff's Office is asking the public's help in locating a missing woman last seen in Gainesville. Arron Phillips, 25, went missing on May 17, but was seen on Saturday.

Deputies said Phillips left her home Tuesday and did not return. Family members said she was seen the following day, Wednesday, at Gainesville Health and Fitness. They said she was then seen again outside The Bagel Bakery on Saturday.

Phillips is described as being 5 feet 7 inches tall and weighing 110 pounds. She was last seen wearing a cream-colored shirt, striped leggings, white "fivefinger" shoes, and a dark purple backpack.

Family members said she has a lower mental capacity because of a traumatic brain injury. She also has a slight limp.
