Deputies: Woman robs Bank of America in St. Augustine


ST. AUGUSTINE, Fla. – A woman robbed a Bank of America on Thursday on County Road 210 West in St. Johns County, the sheriff's office said.

The woman entered the bank around 3:05 p.m., approached the teller, implied that she had a weapon and demanded money, deputies said. An undisclosed amount of cash was turned over to the woman, who then fled the bank.

The woman was last seen walking toward a nearby grocery store, deputies said.

She was described as a black woman, wearing a bright yellow shirt, black capri pants and a black hat.
