Boil water notice lifted for Baldwin residents

BALDWIN, Fla. – The boil water notice was lifted Friday afternoon for the residents of Baldwin, town officials said in a notice. 

"The water has gone through the procedure of tests needed and all have passed," officials said.

Some residents of Baldwin were first told to boil their water as a precaution after a water line break Tuesday morning.

Residents who live on the east side of the railroad tracks on U.S. 90 had their water service temporarily interrupted by the water line break on Ellison Road. As a precaution, authorities advised those residents to boil all water used for drinking or cooking.
