JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – The driver of a stolen car is being sought after he ran off during a traffic stop Thursday night, the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office said.
About 9 p.m., police stopped a BMW on Lem Turner Road near Broward Road.

Police said they then discovered the male driver did not own the BMW, which had been reported stolen. But the man ran away as police were trying to arrest him, according to JSO.
The Sheriff's Office said a gun was also found in the car.
