Winn-Dixie recalls Creative Snack mixes sold at Jacksonville store

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Winn-Dixie recalled its Creative Snacks Brain Food and Heart Smart mixes from one Jacksonville store because the sunflower seeds in the products may be contaminated with Listeria monocytogenes, Southeastern Grocers announced Friday night.

The product was sold in bulk bins in the natural and organics section of the Winn-Dixie store on Chaffee Road.

Winn-Dixie has received no reports of illness and all of the affected product in the store has been discarded, the grocery store said.

Anyone who purchased the product should throw it away and go to the store for a full refund. To receive the refund, customers should present proof of purchase with either a receipt or the product-packaging label.
