JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – The Flagler Board of County Commissioners will host a ribbon cutting Monday to mark the Old Kings Road Extension.
This $6.7 million project includes a four-lane road that stretches between Forest Grove Drive and Matanzas Woods Parkway.
This fills in a gap in Old Kings in front of Matanzas High School.
The Florida Department of Transportation hopes this will improve access to I-95.
Flagler County managed oversight of the project, which was funded entirely by a Florida Department of Transportation grant.
The extension will remain closed for the event and open to traffic later in the day.
The public is invited to attend.
