Former Florida Gators quarterback and Jacksonville native Tim Tebow prayed with a man's family while he was going through a medical emergency on a flight from Atlanta to Phoenix, according to witnesses.
Richard Gotti posted on Facebook that he was on Delta Flight 1772 when an older gentleman began having what appeared to be heart problems and he went unconscious.
Other passengers jumped in to help with chest compressions, start an IV and pray. Gotti said they used an AED but the man still had no pulse.
"The crew of Delta Airlines were amazing. They acted in a fast and professional manner," Gotti wrote.
Gotti said he then noticed a man walking down the aisle and realized it was Tebow.
He met with the family as they cried and prayed with the passengers on that section of the plane.
"The plane landed in Phoenix and that was the first time they got a pulse back!" Gotti wrote.
As of Monday evening, Gotti's Facebook post had been shared nearly 1,000 times.
