Police said Hamilton was sitting in his car in the parking lot about 9:30 p.m. Saturday when Frazier pulled in and parked next to him.

Both men got out, and in front of several witnesses, Hamilton shot Frazier once in the chest and drove off, according to the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office.

Lt. Steve Gallaher said there was a history of Frazier bullying Hamilton.

According to Department of Corrections records, Frazier had a violent criminal history, and served time in prison for second degree murder. He was released in October 2010, according to DOC records.

Hamilton was arrested at a motel in Clayton County, Georgia, and will be extradited back to Duval County on a charge of second-degree murder, Gallaher said.
