JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Officers said an unidentified man in his 30s or 40s was found dead in a home on East Briarcliff Road under suspicious circumstances.
Police said the man was found by his landlord, who was collecting late rent at the house on Briarcliff Road near Beckner Avenue, which is south of Dunn Avenue on the Northside.

"It was enough unusual suspicious circumstances to warrant a homicide team coming out," Sgt. Billy Kreiger said.
Police said neighbors do not have to worry, but no one was in custody.
