Jacksonville native killed in Atlanta

ATLANTA – Police are investigating the deadly shooting of a woman in a Northeast Atlanta parking lot Friday night.

Jokisha (Kisha) Brown, 35, born in Jacksonville, was shot multiple times, according to Atlanta police.

Atlanta police said Brown was found in the driver's seat of a Mercedes sedan.

No suspects are in custody.

Police said they are interviewing witnesses and hope to get more information about the shooting form nearby surveillance cameras.

A small memorial was created at the scene for Brown. Friends left flowers and candles with some spelling out “KB.”

The medical examiner said Brown would have been 36-years-old Saturday.

Back in March, there was a shooting at the Silver Fox Gentleman's club on the city's Westside.
The man who was shot was Brown's younger brother, Marlon Brice.

Kisha, often posted on Facebook about her brother after his death. She told her follows
"After getting the news of his murder, she traveled down from Georgia so she could see for herself."

Kisha's family has setup a GoFundMe account for contributions.
