JACKSONVILLE BEACH, Fla. – A water main break flooded a street Monday near Pablo Towers in Jacksonville Beach.
Police said a valve stopped working around 2:30 p.m. as workers were doing construction in the area.

The outage only affected Pablo Towers, police said, and water should be restored to the apartments soon.
The workers are in the process of switching out the valves during construction.
The water was already evaporating by 4 p.m., and the flood should be gone before the city's fireworks festivities for the Fourth of July, police said.
