Jennie Lou Hawley, 34, was taken unresponsive to UF Health Jacksonville, where she died.

Demetrius Aundrae Robinson, 33, from Columbia, South Carolina died at the scene of the 7:45 a.m. shooting.

Police said Robinson and Hawley were found between 20 and 30 feet apart in a vacant lot next to a house on Dekle Avenue. Witnesses heard multiple gunshots, but police said they are still looking for anyone who saw the shooting.

No weapons were found at the scene, but police said several pieces of evidence were found in the street and field.

Police are searching for the gunman, but had no description. They said they have not learned a motive in the shootings.

A white pickup truck was seen leaving the area shortly after the shooting, but investigators don't know if it was related.

"That could either be a third victim or could be a suspect, or it could be someone driving down in the road heard the shots and then fled because they didn't want to be involved in this," JSO homicide Sgt. Michael Paul said. "We really don't know what the white pickup truck has to do with this at this point but hopefully in a few hours we will be able to have a few more interviews done and we will be able to talk with some more people and figure out Who the white pickup truck is and if there he were involved at all.”

Anyone with any information about the shooting is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 866-845-TIPS.
