Police: Person grazed by bullet at Wesconnett Park


JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – One person was grazed in the head by a bullet after a dispute Friday at Wesconnett Park on the city's Westside, the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office said. 

Officers were called just before 3:30 p.m. to 105th Street after an argument broke out among a group of young adults who knew each other.

Investigators said at least one person pulled out a gun and stated shooting before fleeing the scene.

The victim had a minor gunshot wound to the head but did not wish to be taken to the hospital, police said.

The Sheriff's Office continues to investigate.
