JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – The man arrested for a 2015 bank robbery was sentenced Friday.
Charles James Skolnick, 40, was sentenced to 30 years in prison as a habitual felony offender and prison release re-offender for his conviction of robbery.
In October 2015, Skolnick entered the Centerstate Bank on King Street and approached one of the bank tellers. The defendant then handed the teller a note stating that he was robbing the bank and demanded $100 bills. After the teller gave him some cash, Skolnick fled the scene.
