What do you see as the top three issues in this race?

How can you help voters in a way that others running for this office cannot?
I have been here since 1974, my family lives here, my husbands family settles this great city, I have a vested interested in this beautiful county we call home, plus I I have the knowledge and expertise working 28 year for the St. Johns County Property Appraisers officer where I balance a billion dollar tax roll, worked with Tallahassee, and all your Taxing Authorities to include the County and School Board, I know the staff for the County and how everything operates. I am self funded in my campaign, with the help of family and friends not by developers for obvious reason.
What would you hope to be remembered for accomplishing after serving in this office?Controlling Grown within the limits of the Statutes. Bringing Balance back with Infrastructure, Environmental Protection, Schools, Fire protection and Sheriff's Department without raising Ad-valorem Taxes.

What do you see as the top three issues in this race? 1. Addressing the backlog of infrastructure needs which has now grown to exceed $270 million.
2. Ensuring new development occurs in an orderly, well planned manner, avoiding damage to our precious natural resources.
3. Diversifying our economy to broaden our ad valorem tax base and providing good jobs here in St Johns County.
How can you help voters in a way that others running for this office cannot? I have 40 years experience in protecting and conserving Florida's natural resources. Having served as Executive Director of both the St. Johns River Water Management District and the South Florida Water Management District I have managed staff, budget and projects at the highest level of State government. This includes the acquisition of 1.25 million acres of conservation lands State wide, with about 50,000 acres in St Johns County alone.
What would you hope to be remembered for accomplishing after serving in this office? Helping to continue and enhance the quality of life we share while maintaining a well run cost effective County government. Also, I would like to be remembered for diversifying our economy in St. Johns County and growing our jobs base.
