Motorcyclist injured in I-95 crash in Flagler County


FLAGLER COUNTY, Fla. – A 46-year-old Palm Coast man was seriously injured Friday morning when his motorcycle hit a truck on I-95 northbound in Flagler County, according to the Florida Highway Patrol

Naldis Lee was taken to Halifax Hospital after he was thrown from the motorcycle onto the grass along the highway in the crash, which was reported just before 2 a.m. Friday.

The 49-year-old driver of the GMC Canyon truck was not injured, according to the FHP report.

Troopers said both the motorcycle and truck were headed north on I-95 in the inside lane when for unknown reasons Lee's motorcycle hit the right rear of the truck.

The Florida Highway Patrol asked that anyone who may have witnessed the crash contact Trooper C. Conrad at the Saint Augustine FHP station at 904-825-5080.
