JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – A Jacksonville Lyft driver, who was arrested in January after police said he groped a woman he was picking up for a ride, was sentenced to 12-months probation by a Duval County judge Tuesday.

Ismael Esa, who pleaded no contest in April to misdemeanor battery, was also ordered by the judge not to drive for Lyft or Uber and to undergo psychosexual counseling.

The woman sued Esa and Lyft, and that lawsuit is still moving through the courts.
