Democratic vice-presidential candidate Tim Kaine will visit Florida A&M University and a South Florida senior center during a campaign trip Friday and Saturday, presidential nominee Hillary Clinton's campaign announced Wednesday.
Kaine will appear at FAMU at 2:15 p.m. Friday for a voter-registration kickoff event.
At 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Kaine is scheduled to meet with local mayors and elected officials at Southwest Focal Point senior center in Pembroke Pines. That meeting will be closed to the public.
Kaine also is scheduled to go on small-business tours in Tallahassee and Miami Lakes, but those appearances will not be open to the public.
