GAINESVILLE, Fla. – It's not every day Lt. Mike Schibuoala hears "meows" from underneath the hood of his patrol car, but that was case in Gainesville Friday.
A kitten was rescued from inside Schibuola's Gainesville Police Department car engine compartment.

Schibuola was able to get his car to the City of Gainesville Fleet Garage for mechanics to safely save the kitten from the engine compartment.
Schibuola brought the kitten to his neighbor's home, who will be adopting the little guy into their loving family.
