Three men were arrested Saturday after an attempted armed robbery on a 57-year-old woman Friday in Glynn County.
Investigators said they were sent to the parking lot of a shopping center on Canal Crossing in Brunswick.
The woman was sitting in her vehicle with her door open when she was approached by two men, one of which was armed with a knife. Police said the man threatened her with the knife and ordered the 57-year-old out of her car.
The woman refused to leave the car and was able to close and lock her door. The suspects left the area in a white Dodge Ram pickup and got on Interstate 95.
A police officer was in the area when the call was put out. He got on the interstate, immediately saw the truck and pulled it over. Three arrests were made in the traffic stop.
Investigators said Zachary Combs, 26, of Baltimore, Maryland; Zachary Miller, 27, of Newark, Delaware; and Steven Ratliff, 27, of Conowingo, Maryland were all arrested. They're charged with aggravated assault, criminal attempt to commit armed robbery and possession of a knife during the commission of a crime.
