JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – A woman suffered minor injuries early Monday morning after what police described as a domestic violence shooting.

The Jacksonville Sheriffs Office says it happened around 2:30 a.m. at the Villas at Cedar Creek on San Juan Avenue.

Police say a gunman fired two shots and a bullet fragment may have struck the woman in the leg. She was not taken to the hospital because her injuries were minor.

The gunman was arrested, but police have not released his name or charges.
