Students suspended after threatening email

FLAGLER COUNTY, Fla. – Six students in Flagler County were suspended after a threat was emailed to a county school unraveled a detailed plan to conduct a coordinated plot against Flagler Palm Coast High School, according to the Flagler County School District.

The threat was sent to Bunnell Elementary School on Wednesday morning using a Flagler Schools student account. Administrators contacted a school resource deputy, and the threat was determined to be baseless.

The investigation led to a student at Flagler Palm Coast High School. Administrators at the high school then found a number of students who were involved in a plan against the high school.

The students were removed from class. Administrators confiscated their computers and questioned their parents. 

Detectives with the Flagler County Sheriff's Office are investigating. The six students will not be allowed back on campus until the investigation is complete.
