U-turn causes car crash in Bradford County, troopers say

2 taken to hospital with minor injuries


BRADFORD COUNTY, Fla. – Two people were left with minor injuries after a car crash in Bradford County Thursday.

The accident happened on State Road 100 west of County Road 18 at 6 p.m. 

A grey, Chevrolet Tahoe was stopped on the eastbound side of the road of SR 100.

The driver of the Tahoe was attempting to make a U-turn on SR 100 to go westbound when it was hit by a Nissan truck driving eastbound.

As the driver of the Nissan truck veered to the westbound lane to avoid collision, the right front end hit the front of the Tahoe.

The driver and passenger in the Tahoe were taken to the hospital with minor injuries.

The driver of the Nissan truck suffered no injuries.

Charges are still pending at this time.
