JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – The interior of a Mandarin residence that is under construction was damaged during a burglary earlier this month, the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office said Monday. 

Police say the home has been entered illegally multiple times, and damaged even more since.

Police said the first burglary at the home on Heron Point Road happened on Sept. 3.

It appeared whoever damaged the interior had stayed in the home for an extended period of time. 

Surveillance video captured at least two white males inside the gated construction area numerous times, police said.
