Braised Ground Beef
Ingredients
- 1/4 c. Vegetable Oil
- 2 lbs Ground Beef
- 1/2 c. Ground Red Peppers
- 1/4 c. Ground Onions
- 1/4 c. Ground Garlic
- 3 T. Chef Kenny's Fried Chicken Seasoning
Procedure
- Preheat large skillet on medium high heat
- Add oil
- Add beef and proceed to brown
- Add remaining ingredients and cook until beef is fully cooked
- Reserve
Roasted Mushrooms
Ingredients
- 1 c. Shiitake Mushrooms, halved
- 1 c. Oyster Mushrooms, stemmed
- 1 c. Crimini Mushrooms, halved
- 1/4 c. Vegetable Oil
- 1/4 c. Chef Kenny's Fried Chicken Seasoning
Procedure
- Preheat oven at 425 degrees
- Combine all ingredients into a bowl and toss together gently
- Place on baking sheet
- Place baking sheet into oven and roast Mushrooms for 20 minutes
- Remove and reserve
Building of dish
- 4 c. Braised Beef
- 2 c. Roasted Mushrooms
- 4 pints blanched Egg Noodles
- 4 c. Smoked Turkey Stock or Chicken Stock
- 1/4 c. Savory Herbs
- 1/2 c. Roasted Garlic
- 1 c. Sour Cream
- Salt and Pepper to taste
Procedure
- Preheat boiling pot of salted water with strainer.
- Preheat large skillet on medium high heat.
- Add beef and mushrooms and Sautée.
- Add stock and reduce liquid by half.
- Add sour cream and herbs and mix together well.
- Add place pasta in water and heat up for 20 seconds.
- Drain pasta and add to beef mixture.
- Toss together and cook for 1-2 minutes.
- Divide and place into 4 bowls.
- Garnish with chopped savory herbs
