Jacksonville, Fla. – A young man was shot early Saturday on the Northside, the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office said.

Detectives said the man was shot in the torso around 5 a.m. on West 16th near McMillian streets.
The man’s car was found less than a mile away from the scene, officers said.
Witnesses told the Sheriff's Office that they heard 6 shots fired.
Authorities have not released information regarding the victim’s identity or medical condition.
