JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – A woman who stole more than $9,400 from Burger King, where she was working at the time, has been found guilty of grand theft, officials said Tuesday.

Kacy Danielle Crenshaw, 27, will face up to five years in prison when she’s sentenced the week of Nov. 28, according to State Attorney Angela B. Corey.

In January, Crenshaw’s place of business learned that several bank deposits hadn’t been completed, investigators said.

On multiple occasions, Crenshaw took the money but failed to deposit the funds, an investigation showed. She had been responsible for making the bank deposits.

Crenshaw stole $9,473, officials said.
