JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – A man was shot multiple times Saturday night in Downtown Jacksonville and was taken to UF Health for treatment, according to the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office.
Investigators said the 50-year-old was shot on East Church Street near the intersection of North Laura Street. The man had gunshot wounds to his right arm and left leg.
Police said his injuries were not believed to be life-threatening condition.
Witnesses told police the shooter was carrying two trash bags and a handgun and the shooting followed a dispute.
