JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Detours will be in place from 11 p.m. Tuesday to 5 a.m. Wednesday on eastbound and westbound J.Turner Butler Boulevard as part of the Interstate 95/JTB interchange improvement project, the Florida Department of Transportation announced Monday.
Drivers on westbound JTB will be detoured to northbound I-95 to Bowden Road (exit 345). Drivers will then have to make a U-turn at Bowden Road to travel to southbound I-95.
People driving on eastbound JTB will be detoured to southbound I-95 to Baymeadows Road (exit 341). Drivers will then need to make a U-turn at Baymeadows Road to to get onto northbound I-95. Philips Highway can also be used as an alternate route.
The closures are required to place concrete for the bridge deck, FDOT said.
