"He's my best friend. He's pretty much the only thing I have here in Florida," O'Sicky said. "I moved here from South Jersey two years ago, single, no kids. This is it right here. It's my buddy, it's my best friend."

O'Sicky said he came home Wednesday afternoon and noticed Buddy Boy wasn't in the yard where he left him.

He searched the neighborhood and posted photos of the dog on Facebook in the hope of finding him.

O'Sicky wants his best friend back so badly that he has offered his 2002 Chevy truck as a reward or $1,500.

"Truck's replaceable, he's not," O'Sicky said. At the end of the day, I just build up and get another vehicle."

He said Buddy Boy is friendly, loves car rides and responds to his name when called.

O'Sicky is urging anyone who sees his dog to look him up on Facebook and help bring Buddy Boy back home.

"I would give anything. I would go to any limit to find the dog," O'Sicky said. It doesn't matter, I want him back."
