ST. JOHNS COUNTY, Fla. – The St. Johns County Sheriff's Office is asking for the public's help in identifying a man accused of using counterfeit money to purchase Visa gift cards.
Deputies said the black male, seen on surveillance wearing a striped shirt, attempted to purchase $510 worth of Visa gift cards with 10 counterfeit $50 bills and one counterfeit $10 bill on Saturday around 5:45pm.

The cashier recognized the bills were fake and notified law enforcement.
The man left the store, which was not named, prior to law enforcement arriving.
