FLAGLER COUNTY, Fla. – A former Flagler County soccer coach wanted on molestation charges in Florida turned himself in after posting bond in Washington, according to jail records.

Sean Stern, 35, surrendered himself to deputies at the Flagler County Inmate Facility on Thursday, the sheriff’s office said.

The former traveling soccer coach with ties to youth programs around the state and the Jacksonville Armada is charged with two counts of lewd and lascivious molestation of two boys between 12 and 16 years old in Flagler County multiple times between January 2015 and April 2016, according to the sheriff’s office report.

Detectives started investigating the former coach in April after he was fired from Professional Sports Pathways in Palm Coast. The school is now closed.

After Stern was fired, he moved from Flagler Beach to Seattle, according to FSCO.

On his first appearance, Stern was granted bond by a judge in Washington, according to the U.S. Marshals Service.

He bonded out and was released. While free on bond, he turned himself into Flagler County authorities.
